Meet Our Beer Money Pulling Team Main Man
Jason Schultz ...
Hometown: Victor, IA
I grew up on a farm in Victor, Iowa and has been involved in tractor pulling all of my life. My dad Mike Schultz is my best friend. He started taking me to tractor pulls when I was young. I grew up watching legends of the sport. John Klug and Red Baron, Ernie Ropp and the Iron Elk and listened to George Hendrickson announce at the Iowa State Fair. Dad bought his first pulling tractor an Allis Chalmers D21 in the 1990’s and that is when I became addicted to pulling. I went with dad to East Central Iowa pulls all summer long, my best memories are the stories being told in the truck on the way to and from the pulls. He started to let me drive his tractor in the late 90’s and then I built a IH 856 farm stock 10mph tractor to compete on my own. This tractor is currently owned by Tony McMullen from Illinois and is called Bad Influence. I continued to spend time with Dad going to pulls with him and bought my first tractor in the fall of 2012 when my good pulling friend Doug Birkholz told me of a 466 Hot Farm for sale with 1206 sheet metal. I named the tractor the REMEDY because my wife said that my dad and I were addicted to pulling and would do whatever it takes to keep the tractor on the tractor, so I said I need a Remedy to my addiction. I pulled the 1206 from the fall of 2012 to till the summer of 2015 when I bought the current Remedy from Hart’s Diesel to compete in the 4.1 Lim Pro Stock class. I started on social media in the fall of 2012 with the beer money pulling team when I was driving home from work one night and the Kip Moore song beer money came on the radio. The line that says “every now and then you have to raise a little hell, hope we get lucky and stay out of jail”. I heard that and went straight to the computer and created Beer Money Pulling Team and in June 2021 we went over 1 million followers on Facebook.
